Miguel Arteaga
Miguel Arteaga has coached boys and girls youth soccer for over 14 years (U6-U19) in the San Fernando Valley. He started his coaching career in 1993 AYSO at Winnetka Park, where he was a coaching instructor for 12 years including the All-star teams. He also coached youth level for 1½ years in the Panorama City Soccer League. In his love for soccer he also found himself coaching an indoor soccer boy’s team at NASL for one year. In the spring of 2005, Miguel Arteaga joined SFYSL coaching a GU9 team and in the spring of 2006, he joined Valley United Soccer Club.
He has over 30 years experience of playing soccer including being a member of the El Salvadorian youth development soccer program for the national team and two years in semi-professional level in the USA. He has passed on his love of soccer to his children. He has a daughter and son playing for the Valley United Soccer Club.
He currently holds a National "D" coaching license and is actively pursuing a higher license level.
