Norman
Mejia
Norman Mejia was a standout player at Reseda
High School where he was a member of the Boys Varsity team during
the 1999-2002 years. While in High School, he played club soccer
at North Valley Soccer Club. After High School, Norman played at
Mission College in 2002 and 2003. After college, he played semi-professionaly
in summer of 2003 in El Salvador as a member of the Futuro Footbal
Club. He served as a Head Coach at Reseda High School for Boys JV
team, and as an assistant coach with the Boys Varsity. Currently,
Norman is a San Fernando High School Boys Varsity Head Coach and also serves as an assistant coach with Mission College Boys Soccer Team.
He continues to be a Counselor/Coach at Sports
Plus Soccer Camp, where he has been coaching Boys and Girls (1st-9th
grade) since 2002. He guided his Valley United team to a CSL double,
as they won both CSL Gold Bracket and the CSL League Cup in the
same season. Norman holds a National "D" coaching license.
